FIDE EVENTS
English players only: to play in the FIDE events you must be a member of the English Chess Federation (GOLD or PLATINUM category) to participate. Ring 01424 775 222 to join or visit http://www.englishchess.org.uk/.
Players who belong to a FIDE nation other than ENG (e.g. SCO or USA) don't need to belong to the ECF. HOWEVER you do need to quote your FIN (FIDE Identification Number) with your entry. Non-English players will have to obtain a FIN from their national federation or ask me, and I will do it for you. English players - I will register you with FIDE directly.
ENTRY FEES for the FIDE events
£40.00 - FIDE rated players
£45.00 - Unrated players (no standard FIDE rating)
Entries on the day, if accepted, will be charged £50.00.

All
players in the Under 135 Section should ideally be SILVER or above, or
else pay a slightly higher entry fee (add £7 for adults, £5 for Under
16s), the balance is passed to the English Chess Federation.
